About
Biggleswade And District Camera Club
We are a group of photographers of all ages who meet weekly (September to April) to practise and learn more about
the art of photography.
If you enjoy taking photographs, would like to increase your knowledge of the subject
and show your work to a wider audience, please get in touch.
We look forward to meeting you.
Our varied programme includes:
Visiting speakers – who present their work or give tuition
Club and inter-club competitions judged by independent judges
Practical evenings where you can both learn and practice new skills
Social evenings – to talk photography (and any other subjects that takes our fancy)
Members’ evenings provide a chance to show others your work
In addition to our main programme we also run ‘Clickers’ – a mid-week photo outing group
You don’t have to be an expert to join.
It doesn’t matter what camera you have, we cater for all formats – digital and prints – as well as audio-visual presentations,
but not video or cine.
A warm and friendly welcome awaits you, with help and advice freely given
A grant from the National Lottery ‘Awards for All’ has enabled the club to buy the latest digital projection equipment,
as well as specialist lighting equipment for use in studio work.
We meet every Thursday at 7.30 for 8.00pm until approximately 10.00pm from September to April at The The Weatherley Centre, Eagle Farm Road, BIGGLESWADE, Beds, SG18 8JH.
