Member’s Evening 3 June 2021

The member’s meeting on Thursday saw a presentation by Bob Brind-Surch at which he talked about his history of photography and developed a series of views about the use of various post-processing techniques and their place in the photography of natural life. This was followed by a series of members images firstly by Mary Dominey who showed us how she had been experimenting with a specific technique in Photoshop that produced interesting creative images. Then Hugh Spence showed us how he had experimented with images of life from his garden pod. The final two sessions were from Bob Grinham and Geoff Philips who showed a variety of low-cost photographic image processing software. The video of the evening is available to members only in the Member’s Zone of the web site for the next three weeks.
