First Member’s Evening

The season is now in full swing having had the first PDI competition last week. That night we were treated to two very different presentations, an extremely informative session from Guy Wills giving lots of very useful advice and examples on how to take “Sports” images for club competitions. Guy has kindly allowed us to show his presentation slides in the Members Zone of the web site here.

The second presentation was by Nigel Sutton who showed us a very different and attractive series of his panorama style images. Geoff Phillips was originally going to add the final presentation but he was unfortunately indisposed and we wish him well and a swift recovery.

Next week will see the first two print rounds of the Challenge Cup, so don’t forget to send your digital versions into the system by Sunday evening and don’t forget to bring the actual prints to the club on Thursday for judging.
